In an elevated position in Braes (just outside Ullapool) there a a number of walks including a choice of two pedestrian paths down to the village itself.
These walks offer excellent views of the surrounding area and opportunities to see some of the indigenous wildlife such as red deer as well as many migrating birds which stop over here throughout the year.
